Saginaw Strings is not offering classes at this time. You are encouraged to have your child study privately by contacting one of our teachers listed under CONTACT US. Then join a Saginaw Strings class later this year for the joy of making music together. 2021 SESSIONS: KEEP MAKING MUSIC! Research shows that MUSIC EDUCATION is ESSENTIAL to a child's early learning experiences. We offer reasonably priced class lessons at a convenient location within the Great Lakes Bay Region. Saginaw Strings is a Suzuki-inspired program with SSA Registered Teachers who teach children and youth, grades 2 through 12, to play VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, and BASS. We offer various classes to meet your child's current abilities -- from those children who are just getting started, to those children and youth who can read and play music. Saturday classes are held at our home venue, First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw. >> 2021 SESSIONS << Tuition per session is $85 for a 50-minute small group setting. Generous tuition assistance available to all. 2021 SUMMER: one class per week during June & July -- Dates TBA 2021 LATE SUMMER/EARLY FALL: August 14 through 28 & September 11 through October 2. > Beginning Strings -- Time to TBA For those students with little or no training. > Advanced Beginning Strings -- Time TBA For beginners who are playing. Music reading skills are introduced while student continues technical development. > Intermediate Strings Ensemble -- Time TBA A strings-only ensemble for children and youth who read music and have developed the ability to play multiple-part music. > NewEnsemble Chamber -- Time TBA A strings-only chamber ensemble of 4 to 8 advanced youth who are preparing to audition for Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra.
